2022 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS

The CERDI will host the 2022 International Conference in Development Economics (ICDE) that is a follow-up of the 2021 edition that was jointly organized by DIAL (IRD - PSL - CNRS) and GREThA (Université de Bordeaux - CNRS).

The objective of the conference is to be a forum for discussing innovative research in development economics, and rediscover the pleasure of face-to-face interactions with a large network of colleagues. Both empirical and theoretical contributions and wide ranges of topics are welcome to the conference. Issues of interest include, but are not limited to migration, climate change, monetary policy, growth, poverty, environment, taxation, agriculture, health, international trade, inequality, digitalization, firm performances, employment or conflict issues.

The event will be on-site. If this was necessary because of the evolution of the health situation, the conference will become fully or partly virtual.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

The conference will be the first scientific event of the AFEDEV whose objectives are to federate researchers and practitioners in the field of development economics and to promote research in development economics in France.

A general meeting of the association will take place on the 2nd of July, 2022, in the conference venue. Info: afedev.asso@gmail.com.

SUBMITTING PAPERS & IMPORTANT DATES

Only full paper submissions (either in English or in French) will be considered for the conference.

The deadline for submission is March 20th, 2022 through this website.

Full information and instructions on how to submit your papers are available on the conference web site. Paper presentations will be performed with parallel sessions and poster sessions.

Authors chosen to present papers or posters will be notified by mid-April. A preliminary program will be announced by mid-May.
